TAs the alumni of KVIM have a special connection with the college, an alumni meet was organized to benefit the current students to learn more from the skills and experience of the prestigious alumni placed in reputed in various national and international companies. The students were truly benefitted in engaging in an interactive conversation to understand the realities of the corporate expectations.
KVIM organized a faculty development program on "Joy of Teaching" to the faculty members. The objective of the program was to empower the teachers who act as a catalyst to their students and transform them as professionals capable of assuming responsibility in business world. The FDP presented the different ways by which a teacher can challenge, provoke and inspire the students for betterment.
As it is important to be aware of the ills of diabetes as it is eating into the vitals of the economy, KVIM organized a diabetes awareness camp for the students to educate them regarding the ways of controlling the diabetes by reducing stress and exercising every day, so that the disease can be kept in control. The interactive session motivated the students to clarify their queries regarding the various aspects of diabetes.

KVIM conducted a MDP for enhancing the employability skill of students thereby improving their placement. This MDP was organized with the objective of providing practical skills to keep in pace with changes in economy and to meet the challenges of business. The practical MDP was very useful to the participants as it was more focused and structured.
