The scope of MBA in Operations Management is very wide and there are some domains in Production Management that is best suited for students of any background (Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities and etc.,). It is a common perception that students with an Industrial Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering and related fields are generally preferred over other specialization.
