KVIM Students Unite for National Voters’ Day Pledge

In a dedicated effort to promote democratic values and civic responsibility, the Electoral Literacy Club of KV Institute of Management and Information Studies KVIM organized a formal pledge-taking ceremony on the eve of National Voters' Day.
The event, held at the KVIM Campus on 24.1.26, saw a significant gathering of management students and faculty members. The initiative aimed to sensitize the youth—many of whom are first-time voters—about the power of their vote and the importance of participating in the electoral process.
Participants took the National Voters’ Day Pledge, affirming their commitment to uphold the democratic traditions of the country and to vote in every election fearlessly and without inducement.
The ceremony centered on the theme, "Be the voice of democracy: Your vote, your responsibility, your future."
Faculty members addressed the students, emphasizing that electoral literacy is a cornerstone of an informed management professional's social responsibility.
"By involving our students in such initiatives, we ensure they understand that leadership extends beyond the boardroom to the ballot box," stated a representative from the Electoral Literacy Club.
The event concluded with a collective resolve to encourage 100% voter turnout in upcoming elections, reinforcing KVIM’s commitment to grooming not just business leaders, but responsible Indian citizens.
