PLACEMENT CELL

OBJECTIVES

To assist students develop and implement successful job search strategies. To act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community. To work with faculty members, department heads and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum as well as coordinate project work/ summer training/internship programs.

FUNCTIONS

  1. This cell is responsible for preparing students for placements, interaction with companies to identify requirements, matching students to requirements, managing interview schedules, and work towards placement targets and give feedback to the BoG in designing programs that suit changing industry needs.

     

  2. This department shall have minimum facilities such as conference hall, interview room, OHP / LCD projectors and audiovisual facilities.
